Welcome to the world of The Great Uncles, a rather unusual collection of characters presiding over the equally unusual village of Great Wilkeston.

Here you can read all about the various Great Uncles, and the occasional matter of considerable importance to absolutely nobody outside the parish boundary.

Whether you're a regular visitor or a newcomer who's taken a wrong turning somewhere near the county boundary, you're most welcome.

Do have a look around. The kettle may be on, the wireless may be working, and there's every chance that somebody has left a notice on the village board explaining why neither is quite as it should be.
